Keio Prelia Hotel Sapporo is arguably the best hotel we stayed at in Japan between Osaka, Tokyo and Sapporo. When you arrive, check in is on the first floor immediately as you enter. Someone at the front desk acknowledged and greeted me every time. Staff was incredibly friendly. Check in was a breeze. There were multiple front desk staff members who helped me translate or call restaurants to see if they would take my reservation on short notice. I appreciated them so much! The room felt sparkling clean and the amenities were awesome. Everything worked in the room. Thank you, housekeeping and engineering teams! This was by far my hotel breakfast at any of the holes we stayed at and I basically ate here every morning. There was plenty of variety for us to choose from and the food was soooo tasty from Japanese to western-inspired dishes with specialty dishes from ingredients grown in Hokkaido! The utensils, plates, bowls and cups were clean. They had fresh, hot award winning raclette cheese you could ask for to be poured over potatoes and veggies to order. The Hokkaido corn soup was so magical and made in a Dutch oven pot. I absolutely loved the housemade tofu that used Hokkaido soy beans, and the butter rice made with Hokkaido corn! Oh!! And the Hokkaido custard with bittersweet caramel was *to die for*. They also had this stunning honeycomb display sourced from multiple counties that dropped honey into a trough and was absolutely delicious. This was the only hotel in Japan we stayed at that offered such a variety of specialty dishes, so it was extremely special to me. All the restaurant staff and servers were extremely nice and extremely attentive with clearing our tables. Thank you so much to the back of house chefs/stewards and front of house restaurant staff! You guys seriously rock!!

The hotel was in the heart of the city, just a couple minutes walk underground from the Sapporo JR station. Lots of shopping and food in the vicinity too. The hotel was very new and well furnished. The rooms were spotless and quite space efficient though small. The staff were super helpful and always ready to assist even though most of them did not speak much English. They also went above and beyond to help me receive and forward a parcel that arrived late after I had checked out. Their housekeeping service was also very prompt - we received an item we had called to ask for within just 5 minutes! They also took care to line up my daughter’s plushies on the bed when they made the room, what a lovely touch! The hotel also provided a water dispenser on every floor instead of providing disposable plastic bottles. The lounge on level 2 had lots of free drinks and space for guests to sit at and have their takeout meals. They provided us with lockers on the 2nd floor to keep our luggage after checkout. Would definitely stay here again!

Modern and stylish hotel in the city center and in walking distance from Sapporo Station. The check-in was smooth and staff very nice and patient about my early check in. Everything worked well. The room was compact but really cozy and clean. I booked the Comfort Queen Bedroom and stayed on the 11th floor. The city view was okay, but I think the rooms looking towards the University would be even better. I really liked the bed and pillow options offered. All comfortable. The coin laundry was also not too crowded and worked perfectly, all with English translations.

Best relation cost x benefit. We loved the breakfast with raclete and special local items lpudding, tofu and much more like curry and rice. I skept the usual continental breakfast both of them available in the buffet service. It seems that the installations are new, the gym was spacious compared to others in Tokyo and Kyoto. The laundry was really good with a good quantity of machines, the iron was available in our floor and probably in each floor. Short distance between the train station 5 minutes walking. Near the Hokkaido University.

Everything. How they have thought of every smallest thing you might need. Room was very specious compared Japan rooms for the same value. Room was very clean and well maintained. They had free hot drinks available from 1500hrs. Progress of laundry can be checked from the room. It was very close to Sapporo station. Convenient stores and restaurants close by. We had a wonderful time. It was so cozy that we even cancelled our plans for a day and just stayed in the room.
